The country music world lost an icon earlier this week, as the sad news was announced that Toby Keith passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 62.
And as the tributes across social media began to pour in, the Pittsburgh Steelers issued a special post of their own, remembering the occasion of Keith being the 1st singer to perform the national anthem at the brand new Acrisure Stadium, which was then known as Heinz Field.
“Today, we remember his life and legacy,” the Steelers said on Instagram.
