Pittsburgh Steelers rookie outside linebacker T.J. Watt has won the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Week after his two-sack, interception performance against the Cleveland Browns.
The Steelers have seen other rookie defenders surge onto the scene, like fellow 'backerwho had four sacks in his first four games. Dupree eventually plateaued, and it will be interesting to see how the young Watt performs as the grind of an NFL season wears on.
The Steelers selected Watt with the 30th pick of the 2017 NFL draft. Watt spent just two seasons at Wisconsin, but earned Second-Team All-American and All-Big Ten in 2016, recording 59 total tackles and 11.5 sacks. He helped lead Wisconsin to a seventh-ranked defense in the entire FBS.
