Star high school recruit Ja’Marr Chase is taking his college decision to a level not before seen.
The wide receiver out of Metairie, Louisiana's Archbishop Rummel High posted on his Twitter account Friday that a huge TV network will air his decision:
Currently it's hard to gauge the truth of Chase's statement, especially given that NFL Network typically hasn't delved into college recruits before.
Per NBC Sports, "PFT reached out to NFL Network to ask for confirmation of the plans and did not receive a response. If NFL Network is really getting in on the recruiting game, that would be a surprising decision, as the league has typically tried to avoid any actions that would give the appearance of trying to professionalize amateur football."
Chase is currently being courted by 27 teams in the NCAA. His top three choices are nearby LSU and TCU, with Arizona State, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss also getting attention from the youngster.
He'll be expected to make his decision at "The Opening" this weekend in Oregon. He was originally planning to announce the decision on Sunday, but now he'll do it on Monday.
