T.J. Watt was the first pick the Steelers made in the 2017 draft, so obviously the hopes were high about this new guy. The very promising linebacker is part of a strong cohort of new players, but he's already making his mark through his attitude and work ethic.
According to reports, Watt didn't only gain the pro status when he signed his contract, he picked up the attitude that came with it.
"You have to be smart about your studies," Watt said, via Steelers.com. "You have to take study breaks, it's just like school. I will go back to the hotel, study my plays, take a break, and do it again. This is my job now. So it's my job to get that playbook down. There's no excuse not having it down."
He showed amazing athletecism in the first days of the camp, which have some people seeing him in the regular lineup as soon as this year. With his professionnal attitude, things could go pretty fast for the huge 6'5'', 235 lbs 22 years old.
