Former NFL star Terrell Owens remains insistent that he can help the Philadelphia Eagles, who are currently mired in a two-game losing streak.

Even at the ripe age of 42 -- T.O has been working out and sent a message to the Eagles hoping they would sign him.

The former San Francisco 49ers, Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills wide receiver has been out of the NFL since 2010 when he caught 72 passes on 139 targets for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.

Owens was a member of the Eagles from 2004 and 2005, which included the franchise's second and most recent Super Bowl berth.

Owens previously stated that he'd be available to suit up for the Eagles, who are in last place in the NFC East with a 4-4 record. The Eagles wide receiving corps of Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor, Dorial Green-Beckham and Bryce Treggs have struggled to get separation this season and lead the NFL in dropped passes.

The five-time All-Pro wide receiver last played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, but insisted he'd be ready to play while working out in Portugal.

What do they have to lose right?
