Terrible personal update from ex-Steelers WR Antonio Brown
He's once again trending for a negative reason.
Move over Michael Scott, because there's a new notable figure who is officially declaring bankruptcy. Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who has made headlines over the years for mostly negative reasons, has declared bankruptcy.
Brown, who made $80.7 million during his NFL career that spanned 12 seasons, now claims approximately $50,000 in total assets. During his career, he racked up 12,291 yards and 83 touchdowns.
According to Michael Goot of WNYT, Brown owes $3 million to eight different creditors, including $312,000 to a marketing firm, $169,000 to a law firm, and approximately $83,000 on a credit card.
Brown, who last played in the NFL in 2021 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before infamously departing in the middle of a game in controversial fashion, also took over the now-defunct Albany Empire of the National Arena League after failure to pay mandated dues and fees.
He was also arrested last October for failure to make child support payments.
