The Denver Broncos are expected to be active in free agency, and they have their eye on a versatile playmaker.
According to Alex Marvez of Sporting News, the Denver Broncos are expected to pursue free-agent running back . The 32-year old is currently recovering from a torn ACL suffered at the start of the 2016 season.
It is believed that Woodhead will receive interest from multiple teams, while theare also believed have interest in re-signing him.
Though small in stature, Woodhead is a valuable change-of-pace back that could offer the Broncos a new element on offense. He is only one season removed from a campaign that saw him make 80 catches for 755 receiving yards.
He is also familiar with Broncos' offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, who coached Woodhead over the last four seasons.
