The Broncos will be a little shorthanded this week, as two of their better defensive starters continue to work their way back from injury.

On Friday the team announced that cornerback Aqib Talib and defensive end Derek Wolfe have both been ruled out of Sunday's matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Talib has missed the Broncos' last two games with a back injury, and was sent to a specialist for a second opinion. Wolfe suffered a hairline fracture in his elbow during the Broncos' Week 9 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

The Broncos hope to have both players back following the team's Week 11 bye.

The Broncos need to have these two back as soon as possible, as their defense was handled thoroughly by the Raiders last week.
