Brandon Carr's time with the Dallas Cowboys has come to an end.

The Baltimore Ravens have reached a four-year contract agreement to sign the free-agent cornerback, the team announced Thursday.

Although official terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, it is a one-year contract with several options that can be worth up to $24 million if it carries through the 2020 season.

Carr is an extremely durable player who has spent the last five seasons with the Cowboys. The 30-year-old has the longest streak of consecutive games played among active defensive players at 144, and he's never missed a start in his nine-year career.

Over that stretch, Carr recorded a combined 15 interceptions and 110 passes defensed.

He will now play opposite Jimmy Smith, rounding out a suddenly strong Ravens secondary with Tony Jefferson and Eric Weddle on the back end.
