It appears that the Dallas Cowboys remain intent on bringing in a replacement for Greg Hardy, as his tenure with the team seems all but over.
The Cowboys are set to meet with free-agent defensive end Jason Jones, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The 29-year-old is an eight year veteran, who has spent his last three seasons with the Detroit Lions. He has been durable during his time in the NFL, missing only one game over the last two seasons.
Jones recorded 9.5 sacks and and 53 tackles over the last two seasons with the Lions.
Should the team sign Jones he would likely compete for the starting spot opposite Demarcus Lawrence.
The team could also use a premium draft pick on a defensive lineman, given their need for pass-rushers up front.
