Nelson Agholor's performance may now begin costing him playing time.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Philadelphia Eagles' wide receiver could find himself benched for Monday night's game against the .
The Eagles' 2015 first-round pick has been completely ineffective this season, and has yet to record more than four receptions in a game. In 10 games this season Agholor has a season high of 57 yards receiving, with six games under 40 yards.
He also cost the team big time last week, Agholor’s struggles were magnified last week when failing to line up properly drew an illegal formation penalty that wiped out a would-be Zach Ertz touchdown touchdown at a crucial moment against the Seahawks. Agholor then dropped a pass for a significant gain despite being wide open in the middle of the field.
He failed to record a single catch in the game.
The 23-year-old is reportedlyin hopes it will help elevate his play.
Until he finds a way to get out of his own head, he may find himself riding the pine pony.
