It appears that the Philadelphia Eagles have found themselves a new wide receiver.
According to an official announcement by the team, the Eagles have acquired former New York Giants' receiver Rueben Randle on Wednesday. The deal is reportedly on a one-year term and Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports Randle will make $1.025 million with incentives that could push the total value above $3 million.
The former second-round pick had showed some flashes of consistency with the Giants, but was never really able to take advantage of the opportunities left by the absence of Victor Cruz over the last two seasons.
Eagles' wide receiver corps isn't very deep so they can afford to add more talent and depth. Randle will join receivers Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor, Josh Huff, and Chris Givens as the team's primary receiver for the 2016 season.
