The New York Giants have an update on Janoris Jenkins.
The cornerback is undergoing tests to rule out the possibility that he suffered organ damage during Sunday's win against the Detroit Lions, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports.
Jenkins left during the first half and did not return, but texted ESPN's Josina Anderson after the game that he's fine.
"He took a knee to the back, he's still being evaluated," Giants' head coach Ben McAdoo said via NJ.com's James Kratch. "As far as I know, he's being evaluated."
Jenkins is in the midst of a career year and is warranting consideration for the Pro Bowl, recording 48 tackles and three interceptions this season.
