The Green Bay Packers got some good news on the injury front.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, expect wide receivers Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison to be ready to play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Adams will sit out of practice until Saturday due to a sprained ankle, and Allison missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring issue. Despite sitting out these training sessions, both remain on track to return to the field this weekend.
This is good news as No. 1 receiver Jordy Nelson is likely to miss his second straight game because of a rib injury, and the team can not afford to lose anymore depth at the position.
Adams has had a strong bounce-back campaign, finishing with close to 1,000 yards receiving. Allison has also carved out a prominent role in the Packers' offense in recent weeks.
