The Packers have decided to make a roster move today in order to narrow down their roster for the 2016 NFL campaign.
According to Rob Demvosky of ESPN, the Packers have released wide receiver Ed Williams in order to reach the deadline of 75 players on the roster by Tuesday. Williams joined the Pack' as an undrafted free agent in September 2015. He re-signed with the Packers this past January after spending most of last season on the practice squad.
He the product of Fort Hays State registered 86 receptions 1,617 yards and 14 touchdowns in 27 career games.
The Packers have begun to make some cuts in advance of Tuesday's deadline to get to 75. Receiver Ed Williams has been released.
