The Packers will need to find a way to protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers, without the help of one of their best pass-protectors.

Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari has been ruled out for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Washington Redskins.

Bakhtiari practiced on a limited basis all week due to an ankle injury.

Bakhtiari missed the Packers' regular-season finale with an ankle injury and was listed as questionable heading into this game. Don Barclay will likely replace him in the starting lineup. He will look to protect Rodger's blind-side and offer him better protection than he has received over the last two games.

Defensive end Datone Jones, who returned to practice on a limited basis Friday after sitting out the previous two sessions with a neck injury, is active.

Rounding out the rest of the Packers' inactives are cornerback Sam Shields, quarterback Brett Hundley, guard Josh Walker, tight ends Justin Perillo and Kennard Backman, and linebacker Jayrone Elliott.
