It appears the Patriots dodged a bullet on Sunday.
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn't expected miss any time with a back injury suffered on Sunday against the New York Jets. Gronkowski was taken out of the game before he recorded a catch. Gronkowski was also sidelined for last week's game with a perforated lung suffered against the Seattle Seahawks.
Without Gronkowski, the Patriots struggled against the Jets in a close affair. Ultimately the Pats came away with the 22-17 win over their division rivals.
