Luke Willson didn't waste any time getting his knee taken care of.
The Seattle Seahawks' head coach Pete Carroll confirmed that tight end Luke Wilson underwent surgery to repair the nasty knee injury he suffered in the fourth quarter of the team's 26-24 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Although the team did not confirm the extent of Willson's ailment, the fourth-year pro posted a positive update from his hospital bed.
No timeline has been released for his return to the football field, but Carroll did say that there was hyper-extended ligaments as well as cartilage damage, so expect him to be out for a while.
We wish him a speedy and safe recovery.
