This is the best news that Seattle Seahawks' fans could have hoped for about Russell Wilson.
The Seahawks' quarterback spoke to the media on Friday and gave an update on his heath and it's definitely the most positive update to date.
"I'm feeling great. I'm feeling the best I've felt since week one; so that's a good thing," he said during his press conference.
Wilson suffered an ankle injury in Week One against the Miami Dolphins followed by an MCL sprain against the San Francisco 49ers, then a pectoral injury against Arizona Cardinals.
The ankle and the pectoral appear to be non-issues for Wilson, but he still chooses to wear a brace on his knee for the MCL sprain.
"I'm always big into the safety aspect of it," he said. "I think it's smart to wear it. I may take it off. Who knows? I just take it one day at a time. I could probably honestly go without it but I'm not sure if that's the smart decision right now."
The Seahawks hope to have the old Russell Wilson back against the Buffalo Bills this week, who have recorded more sacks that any other unit in the NFL this season.
