The Seattle Seahawks may not be shorthanded for Sunday's game after all.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Seahawks' running back Christine Michael is expected to play Sunday night against the New England Patriots, despite being listed as questionable after only taking part in a limited capacity in Friday's team session.
C.J. Prosise would take on a featured role for at least a week.
While Prosise could still be poised for an increase in snaps as Michael's workload continues to trend in the wrong direction, Seattle's backfield will presumably take the committee approach for at least another week.
Head coach Pete Carroll recently indicated that Thomas Rawls could return to the lineup next week. Barring a particularly strong performance from either Michael or Prosise in New England, the second-year back could immediately jump to the top of the depth chart.
