It appears the Pittsburgh Steelers have caught a break for their Saturday matchup with the Bengals.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has been officially ruled out of Saturday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers with a right thumb injury.
The Bengals will once again turn to A.J McCarron with their season on the line. Dalton was unable to practice the entire week leading up to their crucial matchup with Pittsburgh.
While the Steelers shouldn't take the Bengals lightly, as they have a slew of quality recievers for McCarron to throw too, they will likely take comfort in the fact that an inexperienced QB will take the reigns.
McCarron is making his first NFL playoff start, as oppose to Dalton who possess experience in crucial situations.
Maybe this will be a major differnence tin this game.
