The Pittsburgh Steelers have offered an update on Ben Roethlisberger's injury.
The Steelers' quarterback suffered a knee injury during Sunday's 30-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Roethlisberger was seen limping while on his way to the locker room, but returned in the second half.
According to NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala, Roethlisberger is set to undergo an MRI on his left knee Sunday night to verify the extent of the damage.
"We'll know more tonight" Roethlisberger told Kinkhabwala, while adding that he will "just pray it's not something serious."
Kinkhabwala added that Big Ben's knee is black and blue after finishing the game in some serious discomfort. It was apparent as this outing was Roethlisberger's worst to date. He completed 19 of 34 passes for 189 yards with just one touchdown and two interceptions. While the turnovers were costly for Roethlisberger, much of the blame needs to be placed on the Steelers' defense, who surrendered 474 total yards that included 222 yards on the ground.
"We weren't (consistent) tonight," Roethlisberger said. "That's on all of us."
