Tom Brady might know what he wants after signing a multi-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it doesn’t look like he’s going to get all of it.

The Buccs are unlikely to sign free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, even if Brady would have like to reunite with him in Tampa.

Brown was linked to the Buccaneers after Brady, who he was teammates with on the New England Patriots, even before putting ink to paper with the Buccaneers. Teams pursuing Brady reportedly believed the quarterback wanted to bring Brown with him wherever he signed.

Brown, who lives in Florida, is said to have developed a strong relationship with Brady in the short time they shared a locker room. The 31-year-old wideout often tweeted about wanting to play with Brady again since being released by the Patriots.

But it won’t happen it seems… unless Brady talks his new team into it.

Brown has been involved in several off-field incidents since the Pittsburgh Steelers granted his trade request one year ago. His status is still being reviewed by the NFL following separate allegations of sexual assault and sexual misconduct that were brought forth last season.

He has 1,297 yards and a league-high 15 touchdowns through the air in 2018 when he played for the Steelers.

The Buccaneers can already count on Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as their wide receivers.
