Tom Brady officially sounds off on his absence from Bucs!
Straight form the GOAT himself.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has raised more than a few eyebrows after he announced a leave of absence from his team in order to deal with an non-football related personal issue.
However, he's since returned to practice after 11 days away from the team for what he described as a personal family matter. And he directly addressed the crazy rumor that he was gone due to taping an episode of the hit Fox Network reality television series "The Masked Singer".
That puts that to rest!
It wasn't long before Brady would also post a message to his teammates on social media:
According to Bucs head coach Todd Bowles, Brady came in and immediately was back to his old self, running the offense as per usual.
“He did,” Bowles said. “He’s very familiar with the offense, so him coming back in and us getting back to work is kind of normal. Just getting used to the heat and getting used to the guys, but he ran the offense well.”
“Anytime you have all your guys back you feel good, you know, especially after the injury bug has hit lately,” Bowles said. “We’re happy to have him back. . . . He’s been great. He’s been great, same as when he left. He’s been fine.”
