Eddie Lacy's weight problems are well known throughout the league: they kept him from reaching his full potential during his time with the Green Bay Packers. We reported a few weeks ago that the Seattle Seahawks decided to give their new running back a little incentive to get back in shape.
It so happens that tomorrow is another big day for him. He has to weigh 250 pounds:
He already earned a $55,000 bonus for being under 255 in early May, and must "maintain a playing weight of 245 pounds during the season to continue cashing in on the incentives," per Fox Sports.
The 27-year-old running back has posted a few videos of him training, on his Twitter account:
Lacy has struggled with his weight in the past years, which definitely had a negative effect on his career. He was only able to play five games last season, in which he did not record a single touchdown. That ultimately led to his release from the Packers.
