This would be a tough pill to swallow for Dallas Cowboys fans everywhere, considering that defensive coordinator Dan Quinn has already joined their division rival in the Washington Commanders.
According to ESPN's Matt Bowen, Cowboys running back Tony Pollard will follow Quinn to Washington and join the Commanders. Not only is he predicting that, but also opined that it would effectively destroy his relationship with the fan base that has cheered him during his years with Dallas.
He writes:
"A potential move to Washington would inevitably sour Pollard’s relationship with Cowboys fans, lacking the long-term loyalty that Ezekiel Elliott has garnered. Aligning himself with a divisional foe would only serve to exacerbate this divide.''
The Cowboys paid Pollard $10,091,000 million under the franchise tag this season, in which he finished with 1,005 yards rushing.
