Odell Beckham Jr. remains the premier free agent National Football League player that is still available for any team to sign. He just completed visit with the New York Giants, and he'll also be visiting with the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. However, the highest odds remain for him signing with "America's Team".
Former Cowboys quarterback and NFL Hall of Fame Troy Aikman has gone so far as to say that he fully believes that not only will Beckham be joining the Cowboys, but that he'd be willing to bet everything that he owns on it.
“I think it happens,'' Aikman said. "If I was betting, I would bet virtually everything I have on it.”
Beckham is set to officially meet with the Cowboys the day after tomorrow, and several Cowboys players have already indicated that they'd love to have him suit up alongside them. Team owner and general manager Jerry Jones has also indicated that he'd welcome Beckham into the Cowboys family.
"We have to have this year," he told105.3 The Fan, regarding the receiver's return from a 2021 torn ACL. "It's very important. This year has to be a big part of it. ... We have almost the whole show ahead of us, but we've got to have a situation where (he) can really contribute now."
We'll keep our eyes peeled as to what develops this week.
