Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Andrew Gachkar has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The veteran of six NFL seasons saw some interest from the New England Patriots in May, but nothing materialized after that meeting, per 247 Sports.
The 28-year-old joined the Cowboys on a two-year, $5.5M contract signed in 2015 after playing his first four years with the now Los Angeles Chargers. He served as a backup linebacker while serving as a key special teamer.
Gachkar underwent went surgery to repair an injured thumb in August 2016 before returning to the field.
The Missouri product has made 144 career tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. He's never missed a single game in his career.
