Famous Houston Texans nose tackle Vince Wilfork opened up about his future in the NFL in an interview with NFL Network's Good Morning Football.
"Right now, I just want to make sure whatever decision I make, I'm 100 percent confident in. And right now, the only thing I'm doing is enjoying the offseason like I normally do any other year. And I'm just taking my time with everything because I want to make the right decision."
Talking about enjoying the offseason, it does not look like Wilfork is in any rush to make a decision!
Wilfork was drafted 21st overall by the Patriots in the 2004 NFL Draft. He played with the Pats until they declined their team option on his contract on March 5, 2015. He signed a two-year deal a few days after with Houston. As of now, Wilfork is an unrestricted free agent and Texans GM Rick Smith expects he won't play again.
