Well, this certainly won't do any favors for team chemistry!
Washington Football Team teammates Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne were seen during a commercial break tonight against the Dallas Cowboys engaging in a heated verbal altercation that turned physical when Allen threw a punch at Payne.
The Cowboys had just scored their third straight touchdown and led on the scoreboard by a comfortable 28-7 margin. Cameras caught Payne talking to Allen, who wasn't paying attention. Payne then gestured with a finger towards Allen, who felt that crossed some kind of line and responded with an attempted swing:
The two had to be separated by teammates. Both Payne and Allen have suited up for Washington for the past four years, and also played together at Alabama.
