Kicker Mason Crosby has been a member of the Green Bay Packers for 16 years, and an entire generation of fans have gotten used to seeing him wearing the green and yellow. But just like now-former franchise mainstay Aaron Rodgers, is Crosby's time with the team coming to a close?
According to Crosby's spouse, it looks as though that could be the case. Molly Crosby appeared to imply that the Packers were moving on from their longtime kicker:
"Sad we will miss you, we just ended a 16 year run with the team," Molly Crosby wrote. "That being said... I've got stuff I need to share with you. Little city with big heart and some AMAZING stores and restaurants. We loved our time there and so will you! Let's talk coats, boots, custom packer gear..."
Molly would respond:
"I know…sort of feels Ike graduating high school. But sadder."
Moving on from Crosby would make sense for the Packers, considering that they selected kicker Anders Carlson in the sixth round of the recently completed 2023 NFL Draft.
With a success rate of 81.4%, Crosby would depart Green Bay as the team's all time leading scorer. He's nailed 395 field goals in his career while also hitting 733 of 753 point-after attempts.
