We have some very interesting comments from one of the top insiders in the National Football League to report today.
The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport took to social media on Wednesday and stated his belief that there could in fact be a trade made in the first round of the draft as team's hopeful for a future quarterback could be eyeing Cal's Davis Webb.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see a team trade back into round 1 for #Cal’s Davis Webb. One national scout said “He has Dak-like intangibles.”
The comparisons to Dallas' Dak Prescott are strange in many ways, most notable among them being the fact that Prescott was drafted in the fourth round. Nonetheless the desperation for a game-breaking quarterback is apparent every year in the NFL and it would be no surprise if such were the case again this season.
