The 2022 NFL season is right around the corner for the Green Bay Packers, and needless to say, it will be a bit of an adjustment for reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers to get used to life without his top wide receiver in the form of Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, the Packers have the cupboard well stocked with young talent, including the likes of 2022 Draft picks Romeo Dobbs and Christian Watson. Additionally, they have Samori Toure, who earned praise from Rodgers despite the need to be more "focused".

"We have to get Samori a little bit more focused, but he is very, very talented. And I thought he had a really nice camp and did some great things," Rodgers said on Friday during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show".

"But the other two guys I think can make an immediate impact for us. I’m talking about Romeo Dobbs and Christian Watson."

"I might have to change Dave Bakhtiari's nickname because this kid might be the new baby giraffe, or more like a deer because he's out there just prancing and flying around on the field. This dude's got incredible stride length. And really, for a man who is 6-foot-5, his speed is legit," Rodgers continued while speaking of Watson. "It was nice having him. He's a different type of receiver than we've had. A guy that big with that type of stride length with that speed."

The Packers take on their NFC North divisional rival Minnesota Vikings this Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium starting at 4:25 PM EST.
