As if losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game this past weekend wasn't bad enough, the Cincinnati Bengals have just been issued another blow.
An arrest warrant has been issued for running back Joe Mixon, who is accused of aggravated menacing stemming from an incident with a woman late last month - a day before the AFC division game against the Buffalo Bills.
Per court documents, Mixon allegedly brandished a firearm at the victim while saying, "You should be popped in the face, I should shoot you, the police can' get me."
The Bengals have released the following statement:
“The club is aware misdemeanor charges have been raised against Joe Mixon. The club is investigating the situation and will not comment further at this time.”
