The Pittsburgh Steelers recently came in 28th out of the 32 NFL teams in the latest ranking from the National Football League Player Association's second annual report card.
"It doesn't get presented to us, it gets presented to the media, so as far as I'm concerned it's a media opportunity for the Players Association as opposed to a serious effort of constructive criticism," Rooney said.
The Steelers received surprisingly terrible grades from players in terms of how their families are treated, coming in at a lowly F- grade. Meanwhile, the franchise dietician/nutritionist came in at a D. The locker room earned an F ranking, while the travel situation came in only slightly higher at a D.
