Former Dallas Cowboys fullback Walt Garrison, who helped the team win the Super Bowl in 1971, has died at the age of 79.
Originally selected in the fifth round of the 1966 NFL Draft by the Cowobys, Garrison would play from 1966 to 1974 with the Cowboys and racked up a total of gained 3,886 rushing yards and 39 touchdowns. He also amassed 74 rushing yards on 14 carries in the team’s 14-3 win over the Miami Dolphins in the Super Bowl.
