From one franchise legend to a future one?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have themselves a new starting quarterback in the form of 1st round draft pick Kenny Pickett, who took over from the struggling veteran Mitchell Trubisky earlier this season.
And while it hasn't been completely smooth sailing, Pickett has rebounded nicely in order to lead the Steelers on the verge of a postseason spot.
So, what are the thoughts of former Steelers quarterback and Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger? While there were doubts at first, Big Ben is admitting that he was wrong.
“I severely, in my opinion, underestimated Kenny," Roethlisberger said during a recent episode of his Footbahlin podcast.
"I think he throws the ball better than I thought, he runs way better than I thought," he continued. "His decision-making is really, really good, his leadership, his toughness, just enough of an edge to him it looks like.”
Pickett has already been the recipient of the Steelers Rookie of the Year award; he's completed 232 of his 360 passes for 2,209 yards, six scores, and nine interceptions.
“I apologize, not that I made this like vocal to anybody else, but in my own head . . . Kenny, keep doing what you’re doing because you’re leading this team and becoming the guy they were hoping you would be and I think the sky’s the limit for him,” said Roethlisberger.
The Steelers take on the Cleveland Browns tomorrow afternoon.
