Just moments ago, the legendary Bill Belichick and the owner of the New England Patriots Robert Kraft announced that they had mutually decided to end their partnership.
As reported by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, in an emotional press conference, Belichick mentioned that he will always be a Patriot at heart but he's excited about the future.
After 24 seasons as the Pats head coach, he is leaving with a legendary record of 266-121-0. Since Tom Brady left the team to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Pats have never been the same.
A lot of work ahead for the New England Patriots.
More details to come.
