The Denver Broncos, like all other NFL teams, have to start making 90-man roster cuts. And their first notable player that they've parted ways with happens to be on the offensive side of the ball.
According to reports, they've cut quarterback Ben DiNucci, who arrived in town last year and was the team's 3rd quarterback behind Russell Wilson and Jarrett Stidham.
DiNucci himself confirmed the news on social media, writing the following:
"I have been released by the Broncos.
All part of the journey !!
Excited for what’s to come"
He became expendable when the team acquired Zach Wilson and also took Bo Nix with the 12th overall pick in last month's NFL Draft in Detroit.
