For fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers hoping for a reunion with linebacker Bud Dupree, you'll have to go back to the archives and watch video footage of him, because he's unfortunately not returning.
He's signed a one year contract with the Atlanta Falcons, according to multiple reports. Per Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth up to $5 million.
Fans will remain fond of Dupree, who spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Steelers after they selected him in the 1st round of the 2015 NFL Draft. During his time in the black and yellow, he racked up a total of 39.5 sacks, 65 quarterback hits, 231 tackles and 8 forced fumbles in 81 games played.
He had just been released by the Tennessee Titans after having played two years of the five-year, $82.5 million contract that he signed.
