Chase Claypool benched by Bears after calling out coaching staff!
Punishment doled out!

Things are really falling apart in the Windy City. The Chicago Bears have dropped to 0-4 in 2023 after blowing a lead this afternoon against the Denver Broncos, who also entered this afternoon with an 0-3 record.
And the frustrated Chase Claypool, who called out his coaching staff for misusing him earlier in the week, was punished by being glued to the bench.
"I think rehoning what I want to do really well in, and that's just the things that I can control, like the effort on plays and finishing blocks," Claypool told reporters Friday. "Those are things I can control and things I've been making sure to just master these few weeks. Those are things I can control. The other stuff I can't worry about. Just got to be at the right place at the right time, and hopefully that falls into place."
It was announced before today's game that he would be inactive, a clear message being sent by the coaching staff that they did not appreciate being publicly called out in that manner.
This year, Claypool has managed a mere four receptions for a total of just 51 yards and one touchdown so far in the three games that he's appeared in, all Bears losses.
Don't be surprised to see a trade emerging after this latest development, because things just are not working out for Claypool with the Bears. Meanwhile, Chicago is trying to pick up the pieces after their latest embarrassing setback before their season is truly lost.
