Cole Beasley racks up MASSIVE fines thanks to COVID-19 violations!
He's going to be considerably lighter in the wallet.
Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley found himself in the headlines earlier this year for his refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine, saying he'd rather retire than be forced to do something that he felt wasn't right for him.
"I'm not anti- or pro-vax -- I'm pro-choice," Beasley stated in July. "With that being said, the issue at hand is information being withheld from players in order for a player to be swayed in a direction he may not be comfortable with."
According to multiple sources, Beasley's wallet is going to be considerably lighter thanks to multiple COVID violations, including a $14,600 hit for not complying with mandatory protocols for unvaccinated players in August. Sources also indicate that fine has been doubled several times over, and may have reached a conservative estimate of $100,000 in fines.
Meanwhile, Beasley himself took to social media earlier this week to voice his latest concerns.
"Just to be clear COVID is not keeping me out of this game. The rules are," he wrote in a Tuesday post. "Vaxxed players are playing with Covid every week now because they don't test. One of my vaxxed teammates is in the hospital missing games. I'm sure he didn't get this same energy. Thank you for those who support. Everyone else, if you don't get what's happening then there is nothing anybody can do for you."
It doesn't look like Beasley will be changing his stance any time soon and is willing to sacrifice plenty of money to stand his ground.
