As the 2022 NFL season slowly but surely creeps closer, each squad and their management is currently working towards trimming their rosters in order to get to the 53 man limit.
Yesterday afternoon featured a mandate from the NFL for each team to be down to 85 players, and the Cowboys were no exception. And now, there are five players gone from the roster.
The players that the Cowboys ultimately decided to cut are cornerback Kyron Brown, fullback Ryan Nall, tight end Ian Bunting, wide receiver Ty Fryfogle, and defensive lineman Austin Faoliu.
Meanwhile, next week will feature another round of cuts in order to get down to 80 players. The Cowboys will continue their exhibition schedule with a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night from SoFi Stadium.
