The Dallas Cowboys just got a major reinforcement tonight as they prepare for their postseason game against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins, who suffered a strained pectoral muscle in Week 14 versus the Houston Texans, has officially been activated. He's missed the past four games. Meanwhile, CB Xavier Rhodes has been elevated from the practice squad; both are expected to play tonight against the Bucs.
In five games played for the Cowboys since being acquired from the Las Vegas Raiders in October, Hankins has amassed 10 tackles. He'll be a key element in stopping Tampa's running game.
