The Dallas Cowboys brought aboard some much needed offensive help in the form of wide receiver Brandin Cooks, who was acquired in a trade earlier this week with the Houston Texans in exchange for draft capital.
"I couldn't be hungrier," Cooks said of his coming to the Cowboys. "The last three years, it is what it is. ...Definitely fueling the fire and that hunger to come out here, just show up, and help my team win. I can't wait. I truly can't."
And already, the Cowboys have restructured the contract of Cooks which allows them an additional few million dollars in cap space in the salary cap.
This continues the recent trend of Cowboys players having their contracts restructured in order to give their team more cap space, including Dak Prescott and Zack Smith.
