The Dallas Cowboys have already restructured the contracts of Dak Prescott as well as Zack Martin, saving them nearly $30 million worth of cap space. And now, thanks to yet another contract restructuring, the Cowboys have themselves even more cap space.
Per ESPN's Todd Archer:
"The Cowboys have restructured the contract of WR Michael Gallup, creating roughly $7 million in room. With an $11 million base salary, this was always the design of 5-year contract he signed last year. Team believes Gallup will be much-improved 2nd year removed from ACL surgery."
Gallup racked up 424 receiving yards along with four touchdowns on 39 catches during the 2022 NFL season. He's averaged a total of 53 receptions for 819 yards and four touchdowns in his four seasons.
