Steelers interview new candidate for OC
Matt Canada's permanent replacement?
The Football Feed
The Pittsburgh Steelers parted ways with offensive coordinator Matt Canada after he failed to ever reach 400 yards in any of the 45 games of his tenure, while the 31 other NFL teams were able to do so at least four times. It brings to a close an era in Steelers football that mostly saw frustration from the fans, along with frustrating results on the offensive side of the ball.
And now that the Steelers season officially concluded with their loss earlier this month against the Buffalo Bills, the search is now officially on for Canada's full time replacement. Earlier this week, the Steelers announced that they have officially interviewed former Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown for the job opening.
Additionally, the Steelers are reportedly interested in setting up an interview Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Robinson, along with USC senior offensive analyst Kliff Kingsbury.
In the meantime, they've also interviewed Houston Texans QB coach Jerrod Johnson:
