Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has words for Ezekiel Elliott

Cowboys fans, you'll want to read this.

It was a season to remember for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who completed 68.8% of his passes for 37 touchdowns to 10 interceptions while earning 11 wins in his 16 starts. Of course, this means that he also now holds the franchise record for most touchdown throws in a season, breaking the mark previously held by Tony Romo.  He also threw 410 passes for 4,449 yards - strong numbers by any comparison.

He also declined appearing in the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas after coming back this season from two surgeries on the compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle, and having been a limited offseason workout participant.

He's looking forward to another productive season with the Cowboys, and he had this to say about what he's seeing so far this offseason from star RB Ezekiel Elliott as he explained during Wednesday's OTA's:

“Nothing ever changes of my expectations of Zeke, of who he is, how he leads this team, how he approaches the game," he said. "When Zeke is healthy, I don’t think there is a better back.”

Elliotte, who is under contract through 2026, finished the 2021 season rushing for 1,002 yards and 10 touchdowns on 237 carries, all while playing through a partially torn posterior cruciate ligament.
