This would be a bitter setback.

There was more than one loss for the Dallas Cowboys during last night's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Not only did they lose on the scoreboard by a 22-14 final score, but they also may have lost rookie DeMarvion Overshown for the remainder of the season.
The first year linebacker went down with injury in what the team fears could be a torn ACL, which would mean that he won't be able to play in the upcoming 2023 NFL season.
“You never want to see any of your guys get hurt,” Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said afterward in his postgame comments. “That’s what is so tough about these games. We had a couple young guys go down, and you just say your prayers and hopefully the (MRI) points in the right direction."
For Overshown, he's keeping a positive attitude.
He tweeted out “Still Blessed” with a praying hands emoji not long after the game was over, giving fans a bit of hope that the injury may not be as severe.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, Overshown was not the only injury suffered during the game. Both rookie tight end John Stephens (knee) and offensive lineman Matt Waletzko (shoulder) also went down.
Overshown ''has had an incredible camp,'' McCarthy said. "We talked about him seems like almost ever other day. ... He was climbing the charts. ... Really has excellent command for a young player, young linebacker. So just hopeful.''
The Cowboys are now 0-2 in preseason play after their loss last week to the Jacksonville Jaguars. They play their final tune-up game next week on Saturday against the Las Vegas Raiders.
