Dak Prescott has message for Dallas Cowboys fans following loss
The Cowboys dropped their annual Thanksgiving matchup tonight.
In what was a back and forth affair at AT&T Stadium for the annual Thanksgiving Day Dallas Cowboys game, the hosts ultimately fell to the visiting Las Vegas Raiders 36-33 in overtime thanks to a field goal from Daniel Carlson.
The Cowboys have now dropped three of their last four after starting the season with a surging 6-1 mark. Meanwhile, Las Vegas improved to 6-5. Of course, the Cowboys weren't helped by the fact that they were missing both Amari Cooper (COVID-19 protocols) and Ceedee Lamb (concussion).
Dak Prescott would finish 32-of-47 on the afternoon for 375 yards (200 in the 4th quarter alone) with two touchdown passes, and while he's certainly disappointed in the loss, he has a message for fans who are worried for their team that's fallen on hard times of late.
"We’ll be okay," he said in his postgame comments. "I’m sure there’s some people jumping off the bandwagon, but we know what we’re capable of."
He continued: "We know the team we have. More importantly, we know the men that are in that locker room, and our belief in each other."
The Cowboys will look to regroup when they travel to The Big Easy for a matchup agains the New Orleans Saints next Thursday night.
